Our Approach

The goal of this project is to establish a pan-Canadian HHR knowledge exchange portal and virtual network. This network and portal would be a national resource providing access to the latest HHR information and evidence on innovative approaches to HHR development, training, financing, regulation, recruitment, and retention, as well as up-to-date information on ongoing research and model-development at pan-Canadian, provincial/territorial and local/regional service delivery levels. In the first year of operation, the network and portal would focus on the core issues of relevance identified by the ACHDHR – HHR efficiency and productivity; entry to practice credentials and competency; interprofessional models of education and care; internationally educated health professionals and ethical recruitment policies/practices.
