COVID-19 VIANurse
There is a need for increased health workforce capacity to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.
To request RNs and NPs for your organization for any clinical areas, including critical care, fill out this form. You'll be connected with RNs and NPs in your locality within hours.

There is also Call for RNs, NPs and Nursing Students.
RNAO continues its strong advocacy on the need to expand the capacity of Ontario’s health system to meet emerging health needs in tackling COVID-19. RNAO was the first out the door addressing growing nursing human resource shortages, as many RNs, NPs and PSWs are being quarantined and/or falling sick, and staffing needs escalate together with the acuity of the pandemic.

The knowledge and skills of RNs, NPs and nursing students are needed to meet a range of health-care needs. For those of you who have already responded to our surveys asking for help, we thank you for your enthusiastic and generous response – we will be in touch. Working in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, we are reaching out to RNAO’s network of RNs, NPs and nursing students asking for your willingness and availability.

They are also looking for:
a) Nursing Students looking for PSW positions
b) We're asking for RNs and NPs with experience and continued competency in the provision of critical care health services, who are not currently working in these settings, or who can increase their hours, to share your availability during this emergency period.
c) We need retired, faculty, part-time and full-time RNs and NPs with experience and continued compentency to provide virtual and/or clinical care. Please fill out the survey here. RNAO will connect survey respondents with employers within hours.
d) NPs with experience, current competency and specialty certificates in primary care, adult care and paediatrics are needed.
e) RNs, NPs and nursing students ready and willing to work in a nursing home with an active outbreak, we need you!
