COVID-19 Women Physicians’ Emotional Well-Being Group
COVID-19 can be isolating and impact health workforce mental health and wellness.
Facebook group created as a safe space for women physicians to process their emotional experience
during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is a time of great stress and trauma for physicians, and my hope is that
this group can be a source of support and resource for women physicians as we face the next few months.
The focus here is on emotion and mental well-being, navigating relationships with colleagues and family or
friends in the context of the pandemic, tips and support for setting boundaries and being assertive in your role
as a physician who is charged with providing care during this time. My hope is that it will be a group that can
provide strength to women doctors who want to advocate for safe care and also to minimize the emotional
hardships that we will all face through what’s sure to be a difficult time.
We are admitting physicians, residents/fellows/ and 4th year medical students who have matched. If you are
are med student and don't have an NPI, list N/A.
