Actions for students to undertake to assist and participate in pandemic response (COVID-19) as required.
Fast-tracking employed student applications: BC nursing students who are not currently registered with BCCNP may apply to become an employed student registrant by following the instructions on our website. All applicants will need to pay the application, registration, and CNPS fees to obtain ESN or ESPN registration.

Reinstating former ESNs and ESPNs: Individuals who have held ESN or ESPN registration in the past can reinstate their ESN or ESPN registration. They do this by logging into their BCCNP account and applying for ESN/ESPN registration. BCCNP will refund the application fee and a pro-rated registration fee to those who obtain ESN or ESPN registration during the pandemic.

On March 16, 2020, the Minister of Health requested that we make temporary emergency registration available to individuals that meet the criteria in order to assist in the COVID-19 pandemic response. While B.C. nursing students are not eligible for temporary emergency registration, BCCNP will be taking the following actions to ensure that students are able to participate in pandemic response as required.

BCCNP has waived the requirement for a completed form 10.1 as part of the application process.
